Denim Première Vision sets sail for spring/summer 2027
The highly anticipated Denim Première Vision event is set to take place in Milan's Superstudio Più on November 26 and 27, 2027. This global showcase for denim innovation will bring together 65 exhibitors, including 45 textile manufacturers, from around the world.
The Italian edition will feature a diverse range of exhibitors, with around fifteen nationalities represented. Among them, five accessory manufacturers specializing in zippers, buttons, and rivets, as well as three yarn and fiber manufacturers: Casati Flock, Mic, and XLance. The show will also showcase around a dozen garment manufacturers, with notable participation from Turkey, Italy, China, and Portugal.
According to Fabio Adami Dalla Val, the event's director, the presence of Portuguese garment manufacturers has been particularly noteworthy. He noted, 'This is something interesting and new because, several years ago, we didn't have any garment manufacturers from Portugal. Today we have two, Pizarro and IVN Industria.' The director also welcomed the presence of approximately 10 Japanese companies at this edition.
A key feature of the event will be the 'Denim Fashion District,' curated by designer Olivia Spinelli and Opaa Studio. This space will highlight the work of 23 innovative brands, including Adriano Goldschmied of Daily Blue. The 'Denim Fashion District' will serve as a platform for emerging talent in the denim industry.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will host a trends area, which will provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, materials, and technologies in denim. This area will also feature the Underrated project, a collaborative effort between manufacturers, weavers, and print specialists, led by designer Kristian Guerra. The project will showcase a unique collection created through their collective expertise.
A series of conferences will accompany the exhibition, offering valuable insights into the industry. The program will include trend discussions for spring/summer 2027, as well as talks by renowned creative directors Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter of G-Star. An industry debate will bring together Maurizio Donadi of Champion, Adriano Goldschmied, and the dynamic duo Manuela Mariotti and Massimo Berloni, co-founders of Seafarer.
Furthermore, a conference will delve into the strategic issue of dyeing, featuring three innovative players in the field. Chloris, a US-based company, will present its bio-based blue dyes produced through microbial fermentation. Officina 39, an Italian enterprise, will showcase its sustainable dyes and pigments. Infinity Blue, a UK-based company, will introduce its process for recovering indigo from textile waste.
The previous edition of Denim Première Vision, held in Milan in May 2025, attracted a substantial audience of 2,100 visitors and 84 exhibitors. The event has established itself as a premier platform for denim professionals to connect, collaborate, and stay ahead of the curve in this dynamic industry.
