Skinner emphasized the need for squad reinforcements, highlighting the impact of injuries and a busier schedule. He stated, “It needs to support these players that are giving absolutely everything… in moments we switched off. That can be fatigue. Our standards is that we can't accept that.” He also indicated that the team needs support in the upcoming winter window to address the issue.
The lack of attacking threat was a major concern, as United registered zero shots on target. Skinner wants to bolster the attacking department, where depth has been stretched thin. He expressed his commitment to improve the women's team and added: “The club care about the women's team, I'll be clear on that.”
