Terence Crawford was quick to point out three pound-for-pound greats who he believes are better than upcoming rival Canelo Alvarez.
Crawford and Canelo are set to fight in Las Vegas for the undisputed super-middleweight championship on September 13.

Both men have recently been quizzed on where they rank their opponent in relation to other pound-for-pound greats.
When Canelo was asked earlier in the month to name his top three pound-for-pound fighters by the Ring Magazine, Crawford featured as his No.3.
After making it clear that he was not including himself, he respectfully placed his upcoming opponent below Oleksandr Usyk and Naoya Inoue.
In a recent interview with the Ring Magazine, Crawford was asked a similar question.

The names listed by the interviewer were: Carl Froch, Chris Eubank Jr, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, Dmitry Bivol, Artur Beterbiev, Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Surprisingly to some, he remained silent when Pacquiao and Hopkins were mentioned.
Crawford selected De La Hoya, Bivol and Mayweather as the three boxers that he thinks are better than Canelo.

De La Hoya shares a professional history with Canelo, as he signed the Mexican to Golden Boy Promotions and was the Mexican's promoter for around 10 years.
While the other two the fighters that Crawford named as better than his foe make perfect sense, as they are the only men to have handed Canelo a loss.
Mayweather was the first man to beat Canelo,via majority decision when they went head-to-head in 2013.
